You are looked after by people who understand your situation. Many of our staff have family members who have needed Panacea support. Our team provides 24-hour, 7-day, year round support.

We put you first
You can be totally sure that every one of our team is carefully screened before becoming a support worker or member of the Panacea Healthcare team. You can also be sure that only those support workers with sound references will ever be sent to you.
We make sure that all our staff participate in our training programmes. This means you are looked after by support workers who are competent to undertake the tasks they perform.
We have standards
We are proud to be certified to the NZ Home and Community Support Sector Standards. We believe it is extremely important that you have some guarantees about the level of care you receive.
We are regularly audited against strict standards to make sure that competent people, who have completed the appropriate training, are supporting and caring for you.

We are accessible
You will always have a direct point of contact within Panacea. If you need support outside of normal hours, we have a 24-hour 7-day urgent services team.
Whenever you need us, we are just a phone call away.
We listen
Panacea coordinators are honest and direct with our clients about the skills and experience of our staff. We give staff feedback on their performance and their skills are reassessed regularly.
We also request verbal and written feedback from our clients to assess the quality of service being provided, and to identify any issues that may occur.
